FM Filter for AM reception
The Wiki says the FM filter might be used for AM transmit with MIC menu set up. I presume the FM filter would be adequate for AM reception also on all bands. So in the case of no strong interference a frugal selection of a single FM filter would allow AM/FM reception and FM Tx on any band that allows the mode. Of course strong nearby interference would impact the reception.

Thanks for the comments Mike and so true about nearby strong signals. However the DSP is fairly robust so I don't think we'll know in practical terms what will be necessary in the way of the crystal filter until they actually get the mode working in the firmware. ;-) Don wb8yqj
