What's a Wiki?

A wiki is a collaborative effort, a collection of information that is provided as a reference by those who see value in a central point of information for a topic in which they have an interest.

You are presently in the KX1 K1 K2 Wiki, which defines the scope of the topic to the Elecraft kit transceivers for the group of web pages that make up The KX1 K1 K2 Wiki.

A wikipedia is a variation of the wiki theme, where there is no limit to the scope, all topics are entertained, and anyone at all can make an immediate change to any of the topics that exist. Example: http://www.wikipedia.org

The KX1 K1 K2 Wiki differs from a wikipedia both in the fact that the scope is limited to KX1 K1 K2, and also such that in general others will not make changes to existing pages, rather they will add their own page(s).

Feel free to add pages, the more centralized information there is here regarding the KX1 K1 K2, the more useful the wiki is.

Also feel free to make changes to any existing pages with respect to accuracy in content, spelling, or grammar. Just click on the "discussion" tab located to the right of the KX1 K1 K3 photo and provide the changes that are desired. The sysops will come around periodically and update the pages with the discussion text. Include your email address if you are available to be contacted about any change you submit.

The discussion tab, happily, is also available for anyone to enter any discussion items pertaining to the pages where they are seen.
